Saturday Afternoon with Carolyn Yeager July 28, 2012

Should White Nationalists leave the Holocaust alone?

White Nationalists Charles Krafft, Hadding Scott and Carolyn Yeager discuss the controversy aroused by Greg Johnson‘s article at The Occidental Observer website: “Dealing with the Holocaust.” Some people are calling it (Not) Dealing with the Holocaust.

While Johnson recommends that White Nationalism does not need to deal with the holocaust at all, some who strongly oppose that idea say WN should not deal with homosexuals, or, in other words, should discourage their high profile activity as movers and shakers in the White Nationalist community. This idea came up in the 750 comments to the article, and we bring it up candidly in this program too, along with some other offshoots from the main topic.

Mike Piper has argued that Mark Weber showed his treacherous side when he fought to overthrow Carto and the Spotlight. Please have Piper on your show, Carolyn, to hear this history. Thanks

Wow! There is quite a fight going on over at the occidental (link referenced) with some big names duking it out!

After becoming very familiar with the IHR website, the store, the links page, and the presentations by the IHR director, the greater the feeling of contempt for those who bash and trash Mark Weber has become. This is because it is so obvious that much of what is said and written about him ("Weber has abandoned Holocaust Revisionism," for example) is completely untrue. Overwhelmingly, these criticisms are of the 'there-are-agents-and-aliens-eveywhere' variety that should be offensive to any person who has a few functioning brain cells.

One can reasonably disagree with Mark Weber on many things. For instance, trying to make the work of the IHR more relevant to more people by not focusing so much on the Holocaust is certainly problematic. However, a person can be critical about this or that without trashing a good man who has done and continues to do important and excellent work-- work that has opened many eyes, and started many people on meaningful jouneys that they would not have taken otherwise.

For readers who would like to see a great example of constructive criticism, as well as a clear and very well-written essay, find Thomas Dalton's "Nationalism and the Holocaust: A Response to Johnson."

Thanks, last anon. And Haddie's insights also were so helpful.

Yes, please, do put your critical thinking caps on, and listen to Piper's podcasts on the IHR. You may conclude that Piper should not be taken so seriously, and that you should take in his work with a huge grain of salt in the future. That would be a good and reasonable thing.

" I call it the Institute for Hysterical Review " Tom Metzger He also said Carto ripped off a bunch of people taking donations to help save the building they were in but in reality is was already paid off. Whatever goof or doof or troof movement you subscribe to be sure there is a bunch of rip off artists, especially when the WWF fights start breaking out. Can you handle da toof ?
