David Duke Show 2013.11.07

Today: Dr. David Duke has a vital show on everything you need to know about blood sugar, and why elevated levels of blood glucose are incredibly damaging to many aspects of your overall health. The chances are that your blood glucose levels are too high, as studies seem to estimate that 65 to 80 percent of the population as a far too elevated blood sugar level. It is a product of the media promoted junk foods and diets that are heavy on the Carbs and sweets, and it must be remembered that Carbs, including bread, wheat flower, pastries, etc. raise your blood sugar as much or even more than normal table sugar. The truth is that all Carbs = sugar in the blood stream! Sugar in the bloodstream is simply called glucose. And high glucose levels not only result in type 2 diabetes but all sorts of health problems over time. High glucose even under so called diabetic levels have a fatal consequence, as even those over 85 mg/dl blood glucose levels have a 40 percent greater chance of heart disease.

More bullshit from mister Puke... Rye bread, has lower glycemic index and has more vitamins, minerals and fibers then wheat.

It has been staple food of central and eastern european nations for thousands of years and people there are generally fit and healthy who are not hooked on alcohol, drugs or western junk food.

I DO agree with you on this established nutritional fact; however, for people like myself who have to remain away from "GLUTEN", Dr. Duke is correct in what he says about the "GLUTEN"; however, if you do not have fully manifest celiac-disease, then you most definitely can enjoy the nutritional-value that rye has to offer, but as far as "I" am concerned, NO ONE should be eating wheat, period.

NB: In the fifteen days, now, that have passed since I have stopped eating gluten, I have lost OVER 10 POUNDS!!! That is the God's-honest-truth, as I just weighed myself, and have lost about seven pounds since I went to the doctor last week, and had already lost OVER 20 pounds since I was last weighed, then!!! This is really impressive to me, and shows what kind of danger wheat really poses for far more people than you would ever have realized.
