Snowden's revelations about the NSA has seen US intelligence bosses go to great lengths to justify their activities. Officially they've been told to use 9/11 as their main argument, according to a document leaked in the media. And some politicians are happy to follow that advice.

9-11 was no slouch of a false flag. All false flags are gifts that keep on giving, that is, are infinitely reuseable and recyclable.
No matter what the general public reaction (antithesis) to a thesis false flag event, it is useable and marketable.
"They" have many useful tools and gifts that keep on giving.
The term "conspiracy theorists" is one of those tools.
