When I was 19 years old, I was one day from being homeless. I had to move with garbage bags to a rooming house with mentally ill people. One of the guys came into my room and punched me because he thought that I was stealing his ex girlfriends via telepathy. lol
I would wake up early in the morning and grab empty bottles behind bars in order to buy eggs and bread etc.
How did I find myself in that predicament? All I can say is a quote from John Lennon: "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans."
There is a silver lining to that experience. You tend to lose virtually all fears that most people have in life.
