Helloooo

Red Orchid here. I got a mention, I don't know what for but it's nice to know you're thinking of me.

I wasn't going to post anymore for a while because I figured you thought the problems I was having with the download link were a wind-up. I'm afraid not, looks like other are having problems too.

These are the ones that work:
Hitchcock
Friend
Fetcho
There might be one or two more. The ones that don't work as of now are:
Hart
Rense
Duke
Fetzer

The Chosenites and their shabboz goy are behind this.

I even thought David Jame's website at davidjamesboston.com had been taken down. But David explained in one of his recent podcasts that it was to do with an overdue registration payment. Anyway that's sorted.

But when I couldn't get on to David's site I found he or someone else is uploading to Spreaker. There's one advert at the beginning and one at the end of David's Podcasts. Maybe that's the price for Spreaker hosting them. They're Australian government adds and Lotto adds, professional adds and not really annoying.

Maybe Spreaker is just what Mami's needs.

Is Spreaker any good for Mami's. Just a thought

Spreaker is a platform for recording. It is what BlackBird9 uses.

Of course Hitchcock and Friend work because I'm using their download links. Fetcho works too because I upload his show to his archive.org account. Archive.org is what I was using until they banned me from uploading to my account.

Hart
Rense
Duke
Fetzer

Are all uploaded to the new hosting service.

Telling me "it don't work" is not very helpful.

You have to tell me what device you are using, what operating system and which browser. Moreover you have to tell me what exactly what happens when you click on the Download link. Forget about the players, they will never work with that service which I'm using temporarily.

Here's the deal - download works but not if you hit play first, its stupid CSS shit. Refresh the page and click the dots instead. That's chrome on android. Using Firefox click the download link

Unknown and Zap:

I discovered what I was doing wrong actually just before unknown posted his comment.

I was on a public computer (and not one that my account is logged onto) and wanted to provide Zap with as much info as possible. I choose to use Internet Explorer and because I never use it I did something different, I clicked on the link and it opened a new tab, and from there obviously I could work it out. In fact with Internet Explorer it gives you the choice of where to save, i,e computer or USB.

Chrome and Firefox don't let you do that, it gets saved to computer.

So, there you have it, you have to click on the download link, but not for those others, Hitchcock, Kelly, Fetcho and many others.

It used to be right click for all of them once. Remember though, I did mention that with Barrett and Fetzer about three weeks ago I would right click on those and I got an error, (a yellow triangle sign, I think would come up in a small box, saying invalid file or something like that) but then I would click again and it would work. Later though it was always an error notice. That was where my rot set in and I became suspicious. Though it wasn't long after when Zap was locked out.

The good news is the links work. Zap always knew that, and he'd be correct.

Putting up a post with this advice might be a good idea for the next one who fails to work it out.

Well, good morning Zap, everything is fine.

The only I'd say to Zaps original comment is it could be at the ISP level and you're not on the same ISP. This happens here in Australia where Telstra is blocking Bitchute but others aren't.

Unknown:

The download links are OK, although it still looks like player doesn't work. but being able to get Bitchute that's a problem. I'm with Teltra, are you saying others like Optus and TPG haven't blocked Bitchute?

Yes

Just re-read what I posted a little while ago.

I meant to say I used to right click on the download link then save as.

Now I left click download link, a new tab opens at Sync.com and there you can either play, or download to computer or USB.

When I next speak to Telstra I'm going to ask them why they've blocked my access to Bitchute?

LOL. I'm not gonna publish a post about how to click on a download link.

I never wrote anywhere that you had to right click on download and choose "save as" or the equivalent of it on other browsers.

Starting today though, I will strip out the code for the players that do not work for the shows that I edit and upload to the new service. This will be less confusing and you guys will know which shows you can or can not stream. I was hoping to be on that new service only for a few days but I still have not found anything else that allows hotlinking/direct links. Kiwi6, 4Sync and Archive.org seem to be the last ones doing it.

I am now looking into VPNs in Iceland or Finland. Kyle Hunt seems to have found something decent but I don't know where their servers are. If they are in Germany then that doesn't make sense to me.

Gosh, when I first read your quote this morning I thought it said you were gonna publish a post about how to click on a download link and I thought to myself that would be a good idea. The important point is won't be making that mistake again.

I so much got into the habit of "right clicking" to save audio files. It was something I told myself to do and did a long time ago.

If I post a comment on a future show and it goes something like this, you won't be mad at me will you?

This is a community service announcement: remember when you want to access shows that are stored at Sync.com, left click the link that says Download. A new tab will open and it's there were you will be able to either listen or download a copy.
