These little cookies from Japan are hip! The ice scraper guitar pick was a nice touch! This of course is a cover of the classic by "Tower of Power" from 1977. It's not a Chritmas song but... "Sometimes hipness is what it ain't!" Merry Christmas Everyone!
Malmsteen was influenced by the famous violinist Paganini, so its not surprising! I have not seen the video you mention. I remember being blown away back in i think 1984 or 85, spinning "Alcatraz Live Sentence". "Evil Eye" was a killer tune! The "classical music" vibe was very cool.
