Yeah agriculture in Canada is not considered essential work (however that's defined?) and seed sales have been halted in some states. I have not looked into this in any serious way, just came across it whilst surfing "about", know what I mean Zap?.
Essential services: the police: to harass the citizens every way imaginable and protect the International Association of Vicious Psychopaths from an inevitable rebellion.
Like Zbignews Berzerkski famously said: we're not worried about a serious rebellion, we simply get one half the population to murder the other half.
They never really worried about a relatively small handful of dissidents doing much besides getting their hopes up about "getting the truth out"; they knew the sheeple even better than we did. My family isn't my family' and never really was. They're on farcebook and they're "all in this together".

Historical massacres have been due to using food as a weapon, i.e. Ukraine Holodomor, Irish Potato Famine, America's Great Depression, Eisenhower's Death Camps in Germany, Killing America's Buffalo, etc. etc.
MSM has been floating stories about possible food shortages, interruptions in supply chain, etc. for the last few days. Planting the concept in people's mind for future use.
