Trouble is, in 2008, I found the original wording sitting in the Geneva archive of the World Jewish Congress. It had been originally drafted by the Jew, rabbi Perlziweig, following months of negotiations. However the British Foreign Office did not agree to the wording "New World Order" and so this expession was inserted post-agreement by Rabbi Stephen Wise and Perlzweig when they passed it to the NYT.
In fact Wise, who in 1917 had received and altered the original Balfour Declaration from New York, said that he considered the statement more significant than the earlier so-called Balfour statement.
