Interestingly enough, the distinction that is sometimes utilized today between "thinking" and "critical thinking," did not exist during the time of Socrates in Athenian Greece.

"Thinking" did not possess the modern conception of the "forming of ideas" or "thought creation." Thinking for the Greeks was DE FACTO "critical thinking" and, was not something most Athenians were capable of.

The ancient Greek conception of "thinking" was seen as a "process of creation" (poeisis)or, a form of "disclosure"(aletheia)or truth. Thinking then was seen as a process of "unveiling" and "disclosure" that which was hidden in concealment, then a "bringing forth" from concealment into the light of unconcealment and knowledge.

Greek Word Aletheia-

Sorry! Great job again Buelah Man. I think many don't realize just how long you've been "putting-up the good fight!"
