They used to travel the Mediterranean and one of their best colony was Carthage , once they came back, the people who rented their land, refused to leave, they were known as israelites , they got kicked out by force. However, the nice Persians took them in, treated them well, yet they consider the Persians as their enemies.Once the Romans grabbed the area after hundreds of years, they went back and caused serious trouble during Jesus era, this forced the Romans to kick them out for good and called the land, Syria-Palestina.They ran away to the Iberian peninsula, they were known as shephards or sephardis jews.
