In brazen violation of international law and abandonment of even the illusion of legitimacy, the U.S. has launched a war of aggression against the Latin American nation of Venezuela. The operation included missile strikes and the bombing of targets across the country as well as the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro by U.S. forces, who have since delivered him to New York, where he is being put through a show trial.

This attack represents the culmination of a decades-long project aimed at dismantling Venezuela, reasserting Washington’s hegemony over the Western Hemisphere , all while escalating its war against emerging multipolarism worldwide.

Rixon Stewart — Jan 12, 2026:

The irony is that the U.S. has already lined-up a replacement for the Ayatollah Khamenei in the form of Reza Pahlavi, the US-based son of Iran’s former shah. In other words, from the U.S. point of view this is really about regime change. Replacing the Ayatollah with a malleable satrap and who better than the son of the former shah of Iran, who was a malleable US satrap himself.

If this happens then history will be repeating itself, as the former shah was installed in a US sponsored coup in 1953. Now if all goes according to plan, Trump will be able to replace the Ayatollah Khamenei with the former shah’s son.

This will enable Trump to kill two birds with one stone. Firstly, he will secure U.S. access to Iran’s rich oil reserves, in addition to which he will also neutralise the threat Iran currently poses Israel.

For both Trump and Israel it’s a win-win situation.

Although from Moscow’s perspective it will open Russia’s southern Caspian flank to US influence and for that reason we suspect that Putin will throw his weight behind Iran. Ed.
