Last episode, on the creepy side of sexual stories in the Bible, it is true that Ezekiel 23 has some very graphic sexual language inappropriate for children and Victorian sensibilities, yet its purpose is figurative, illustrating what a whore the tribe of Judah in its relationships with other gods, which ties into the story of the 144,000 Israelite male virgins mentioned in Revelation, who aren't literal virgins, but are figurative representations of those who stayed true to Yahweh.

And he had also mentioned the story of Lot offering up his daughters to be raped by the men of Sodom when they wanted to rape his visitors, who, unbeknownst to them, were angels.

This is a big reason to question the authenticity of the god of the Old Testament as an all-wise, loving and beneficient creator God, since the appearance, actions and character of messengers reflect upon the person sending him, and this story, among others, like those of David, reflect very badly on Yahweh.
