Andrew Gause often confuses things when he discusses the law. He equates the "right" to homosexual marriage with the right to contract. There is currently NO restriction on the right for degenerate persons to contract. But the EPC "right" to marriage would force everyone to recognize their degeneracy as valid. If Gause's view was correct, then you take any illegal act and then just protect it by creating a "contract". If Andrew Gause took a contracts course, he would soon learn that contracts against public policy are not recognized under the common law, and therefore the Constitution does not protect them either.

What we are seeing now is that people are being punished if they think that homosexuality is sinful. A baker who does not want to bake a fag marriage cake is fined by the courts! I ask Andrew: whose right to contract is being infringed? Andrew Gause should also be informed of things called the 'freedom of association' and the 'free exercise of religion'.

If we allow the equal protection clause (EPC) to run roughshod over the rest of the constitution, we will soon see that this exception very neatly will swallow every rule. Any given law would no longer be seen as operating towards a specific end, but rather as discriminating against a "minority class". The Courts saw this eventuality, and so they limited the EPC to apply only to cases of race and alienation (and gender at a lower level of scrutiny). Of course the Romer v Evans case went against this policy, and the gates of hell were opened up. (Anyone interested in the EPC should read the Scalia dissent on that case.)

Say the Supreme Court declares that fag marriage is a "right". How is it that the courts can stop 3 people from getting married? That is DISCRIMINATING against polyandrous people! See? The flaw in the EPC is that EVERY LAW DISCRIMINATES!
