If you’ve watched cable television in the past 48 hours, you might have noticed an eerie trailer for Prisoners, a new thriller produced by Mark Wahlberg and starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. The story centers around the kidnapping of two 6-year-old girls, with Paul Dano playing the horrifyingly creepy villain named… “Alex Jones.”
We here at Mediaite want to make a prediction: At some point in the next few months, conspiracy theorist extraordinaire Alex Jones will declare on his radio show that this Warner Bros. film is part of a greater plot to tar-and-feather his name and further the goals of the New World Order, the Bilderberg Group, and the United Nations.(mediaite.com)

Desperate to maintain a narrative that will justify a cruise missile attack on Syria, the Obama administration is seemingly trying everything within its power to sabotage the UN chemical weapons investigation in Syria.
The reason is obvious - the last time the United Nations investigated claims of chemical weapons use in Syria, its inspectors concluded that it was the rebels and not Assad’s forces who were likely behind the sarin gas attack.

Police violated a suspect’s Fourth Amendment rights when, in an attempt to find drugs on his person, they temporarily paralyzed him and administered an anal probe, a US federal court has ruled.The suspect was booked for felony possession of marijuana and strip-searched at the police station. At that point investigators noticed Booker was “fidgeting” and a doctor threatened to temporarily paralyze him if he did not consent to an anal probe. (RT.com)

Citing an unnamed source from “Team Obama”, CNBC announced that Larry Summers will be named head of the Federal Reserve by President Obama to replace outgoing chairman Ben Bernanke, whose term expires December 31.
Despite much media conversation about other potential candidates for the position, chief among them Fed Vice Chairman Janet Yellen, Summers always had the inside track. Summers served as Bill Clinton’s treasury secretary and then director of President Obama’s National Economic Council. The Syrian foreign minister has slammed military threats against his country, saying a military strike will only serve Israel's interests in the region.
"The war effort led by the United States and their allies will serve the interests of Israel and secondly al-Nusra Front (an al-Qaeda-linked group in Syria)," Walid al-Muallem said during a news conference in the capital Damascus.
Western countries and their regional allies have targeted the unity among Syrian people and the army by threatening Damascus with a military attack, he added.
He also accused US Secretary of State John Kerry of lying about the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, challenging Washington and its allies to provide evidence.
