Basil Fawlty waits on the Germans - Fawlty Towers - BBC

A classic clip from the BBC's "Fawlty Towers": The Germans. British Middle-Class comedy at it's finest.

The laugh tracks took charge. I got nothing from this.

I gave up TV years ago. Even when I did watch it, I always passed shows such as this.

I feel guilty that I didn't laugh along with the laugh track. According to the laugh track, this was piss-your-pants funny. Yawn.

Mami's: home of funny stuff from jew media; well, funny to laugh tracks.

Cleese was typical oxbridge marxist middle class douche, what do you expect from him, spanish inquisition?

Whole Monty Python show was nothing more than one big mockery over british culture. Although i liked Fawlty Towers because of it's timeless non-political content, this episode where he tauned germans, made really my stomach turn and i avoided as much as possible.

"Live audience" my ass. Listen to the fucking thing again. Once an ear develops a disdain for the stuff it is easy to identify. It would drive me nuts to listen to that shit.

And even if it was live audience, i bet they had a big signal lamp up there, telling when or when not to laugh.

It was made in an era before the rise of pernicious political correctness. There were no sacred cows (except, as ever, the Jews, of course). Spaniards were also mocked, in the shape of Manuel. Words, which would be verbatim today, like "nigger" and "wog" were used. British snobbery and xenophobia were also fair game.
What about the episode with the thick, cowboy Irish Builder?

That should, of course, be 'words which were verboten'; not verbatim.

Are you trying to tell me that it is not politically correct to slander germans? Are you sure you even know whaty polical correctness means?

So you think its funny that made jokes about Hitler and evil nazi germans?

You must be in wrong website then.

I don't think they were slandering Germans. It's Basil who's made to look like the fool.

Is 'German' the new religion? Don't get like the Jews with their 'holocaustianity'.

The whole point of the sketch was to lampoon Middle class British viewpoints about the 2nd World War in the 1970's. Cleese's Basil Fawlty represented everything that was wrong with the middle class at the time. Stuck up & snobbish;yet not quite upwardly mobile enough to justify his prejudices. He had swallowed the Historical lies & was repeating them to belittle the German Guests - albeit in a way that he would normally not have the guts to do, if not for the concussion he had suffered earlier in the episode.
We have discovered since that time the truth regarding Germany. Her true status as a victim of the great Jewish conspiracy we seek to draw the worlds attention to. And that knowledge makes seeing a minor example of the ignorance the British displayed back then all the more poignant. Mostly because that is the mainstream Historical view that persists to this day. Approx 40 years later & we are still blinded by our Jew-Controlled Education system.

Sometimes i think some of the more vociferous members of our little online community never bother to actually watch or read what is posted up at mami's. Preferring to spout their mindless viciousness because they get some twisted sense of gratification seeing their inanities on the screen uncensored. What they write-whether it's just profanities or slanderous comments about people - only makes them look like chimps with fisher-price computers.. Your attempts to try to appear Intelligent whilst mashing your knuckles against the keyboard would be laughable, if it wasn't so pathetic.

To the posters who have written intelligent, sensible remarks & critiques, i thank you.

To the rest of the mindless idiots who troll the comments section of mami's. I hope karma gives you all exactly what you deserve in life.

Hey foon1e, keep posting jew TV stuff from each decade that you find interesting. Each time the dumb ones do not "get it" you can write long explanations as to why you post jew media stuff. Maybe you have nothing better to do than to project your intelligence and reference jew media with laugh tracks for the dummies.

Why thankyou Anonymous. What a great idea.
I'll remember to thank you for it with each long explanation that i provide for the usual suspects.
Talking about "Nothing better to do", why are you wasting your time on a site you obviously have no affection or regard for? Could it be because your own life is so empty, miserable & freakishly devoid of any meaning that you *have* to vent your ignorance & spite against anyone willing to give you a free platform to do so?
Just wondering.
